The human race is full of contradictions. In fact, it is the only race, which exhibits complexity in terms of relationships, struggle, social life, and the roles they play in different setups and what not. It is this complexity, which also results in diverse understandings of numerous, different conceptions of ideas. Thus, what may sound appealing to you may not have the same impact on me. Power, is one such conception which has differing ideas, in different psychologies. Power, in lucid terms, refers to the state of a man who controls certain things.

The concept of power

We generally also relate power as a source of energy obtained through different natural resources and which in turn is provided for consumer consumption and distributed by various means and companies. And these natural resources, generally, narrow down to resources such as petroleum, coal etc. It is a general psychology to run after those things which either sound beautiful or is expensive and hard to find. We tend to overlook what we have with us, and thus run after what we don’t have. In case of natural resources, we overlook an enormous source of energy which when successfully tapped can reap us huge benefits.

Using the energy of the sun

Solar power Sydney provides households and businesses an alternative to petroleum for their needs in energy. It is free in availability, it is a renewable resource and most importantly, it is one of the best answers for the environment and  for the increasing concerns of finding green solutions; courtesy the growing amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Environmentalists have already been able to understand the importance of solar energy. It is when it comes to execution where we lack extremely.

What are the hiccups in the field?

There are in depth interconnectedness into why this source of energy has still not been put to practice and the answer lies on a very simple fact that the cost of installation of the devices which can tap and transform solar energy into usable electrical energy is high. It is said, that the payback period of the device is 7 years. In layman’s language, it means that someone who buys the device now starts getting the returns after 7 years. Also, in a fast paced lifestyle, gone are the days when people resided at one place for 20 or 30 years. A study reveals that people stay at one place for less than 6 years. Then why should people invest in such a device, which would reap its benefits after so long?

Taking into consideration the mass population, the only problem which comes out is the cost of the installation. In order to decrease the cost of installation, the photo voltaic cells have to be produces in large quantities. And the companies would undertake mass production only when the production cost is low along with the profits being high. Further, scientists and researchers have to undertake the task of making cheaper photo voltaic cells, which further have its own restrictions. They need the funding to undertake the research. The first choice is the government, but governments have their own limitations, they are interested more in spending huge sums on other areas, than these. Thus, all these factors, in totality make the improvement of solar power Sydney a debatable matter.
